Alphabits

🧩 About 

Alphabits combines the falling-block puzzle of Tetris with the word-building fun of Scrabble. Arrange dropping letter blocks to form words, score points, and test your vocabulary and strategy. It’s a simple, creative game that’s easy to pick up and hard to put down.

🎮 Gameplay

 Move - Left / Right / Down arrows
Quick Drop - Spacebar
Pause - Escape

Letter blocks fall from the top of the screen, just like in Tetris.  Move the active character to the left or right using the arrow keys, or speed up the progress with the down arrow.  Alternatively you can press  the spacebar to "quick-drop" the active piece.  Pause the game with the escape key

Your goal is to arrange them to form valid words horizontally or vertically, from left to right or top to bottom.

The longer or more complex the word the higher your score! Subsets of words within a larger placed word will generate combo multipliers: "forever" contains "for", "or", "ore", "rev", "eve", "ever", "er" leading to a 8x multiplier!
